I am Heidi Moawad MD, author of Careers Beyond Clinical Medicine. I am a neurologist and an adjunct professor at John Carroll University in Cleveland, Ohio. I have worked in many facets of medicine throughout my career, including clinical practice, healthcare utilization, medical writing, telemedicine, payment policy, undergraduate and medical education and healthcare grant evaluation.
