- Are written for readers without a medical background and are meant to help them have better-informed conversations with their medical providers
- Should express mainstream medical viewpoints
- Are not meant to be for or against a particular treatment. Instead, a reader should walk away from an article with an understanding of the potential appropriateness, pros, and cons of the treatment for someone similar to them
- Cover topics such as the likely outcomes and side effects of a particular drug, how long treatments take to work, and how a treatment compares to other options
We expect our authors to:
- Follow our detailed outlines on what topics to cover in articles
- Write 1 - 4 articles per month (you agree to each article assignment and deadline)
- Write articles that are typically around 1,600 words in length.
